Operating Procedures for Mortar Mixing Equipments
1. Before operation, inspect the mortar mixer for proper rotation. Ensure safety devices, protective guards, etc., of the mixing equipment are firmly secured, reliable, and flexible to operate.
2. After starting the mortar mixer, run it empty first to verify the correct rotation direction of the mixing blades. Add water first, then feed materials for mixing—this is a key step for dry mortar mixer operation.
3. During operation of the mortar mixing equipment, hands, sticks, or other objects shall not be inserted into the mixing drum, nor shall mortar be cleaned at the drum opening.
4. Monitor the operation of the dry mortar mixer during use. In case of abnormalities or excessive bearing temperature, stop the machine for inspection. If a fault occurs and the mortar mixer cannot operate during maintenance, first cut off the power, discharge all mortar from the mixing drum, then conduct maintenance and troubleshooting. Do not force the mixing equipment to run by prying with tools or other hazardous methods.
5. Regularly inspect and verify that the clearance between the mixing blades and the bottom/side walls of the dry mortar mixer complies with specified standards. Adjust the clearance promptly if it exceeds the standard. Repair or replace the mixing blades immediately when their wear exceeds the allowable limit.
6. Upon completion of operation, clean the interior and exterior of the mortar mixing equipment and the surrounding area. Cut off the power, lock the mortar mixer switch, and hang a "Power Off" tag. During maintenance, hang a "Under Maintenance, No Power On" tag at the switch and assign a dedicated person for supervision.
7. The dry mix mortar plant's mortar mixer shall be placed on a flat and solid site, and installed stably and firmly.
8. Feed materials and add water simultaneously during operation of the mixing equipment. Do not start the dry mortar mixer with materials already loaded, and the feeding volume shall not exceed the rated capacity. Tools shall not collide with the mortar mixer during feeding; under no circumstances shall tools be inserted into the mixer to rake materials while it is running.
9. No foreign objects shall enter the hopper of the mortar mixing equipment. Foreign objects must be removed only after the dry mortar mixer is stopped.
10. Clean the mortar mixer thoroughly after work, and lubricate the rotating parts of the mixing equipment. Prevent moisture from affecting the motor and electrical components during cleaning.
