Working Principle

Materials enter the center of the high‑speed rotating rotor evenly through the material distributor. The thrower blades on the rotor eject materials at an extremely high velocity. During natural falling, the stones collide with the materials accelerated and ejected by the rotor, and then impact the material bed or impact plates inside the crushing chamber of the sand making plant. Materials are crushed through repeated collisions, impacts and friction within the chamber of the sand making equipment. Materials can also be fed directly into the high‑speed rotating rotor from the top of the VSI sand making plant. Under strong centrifugal force, they strike at high speed the target materials distributed around the rotor in an umbrella shape, resulting in high‑density crushing. After mutual impact, materials form a vortex between the rotor and the casing, leading to repeated impacts, friction and crushing. The crushed sand particles are sized via the bottom screen (on some models) or air classification. Qualified final products are then discharged continuously from the sand making equipment.
