Ninon Holds Fire Safety Training

2022-11-03

November is Fire Safety Publicity Month, and November 9 this year marks the 31st National Fire Safety Day. To prevent fire accidents and build a safe, stable development environment, Ninon—an enterprise specializing in R&D and production of sand, stone, gravel and powder processing machinery —invited Lecturer Ji Chenggang from Fujian Zhuoguan Technical Service Co., Ltd. to hold a professional, hands-on fire safety training session for all employees on November 3, with a special focus on safety risks related to the sand making machine, a core piece of equipment in the factory.

As a machinery enterprise centered on sand making machine manufacturing and sales, Lecturer Ji started with machinery safety, taking a real-life sand making machine safety accident as a warning. He detailed the unique hazards of the sand making machine: its high-speed rotating crushing chamber may trap gloves or clothing if safety guards are missing; the equipment’s high-temperature operation during long hours of stone crushing can trigger overheating risks; and the metal scraps generated during sand making machine maintenance may cause cuts if not handled properly. He also emphasized the mandatory safety devices for the sand making machine—such as emergency stop buttons, protective covers for rotating parts, and temperature monitoring alarms—and taught employees how to check these devices daily to avoid mechanical injuries. For first aid, he specifically explained how to respond to injuries caused by sand making machine malfunctions, like stopping the equipment immediately via the emergency button and using hemostatic gauze for scrap-related cuts.

Fire safety is no trivial matter, and vigilance is essential everywhere—especially in the surrounding workshops (where lubricating oil and packaging materials are stored, increasing flammability). To boost fire prevention capabilities in such high-risk areas, Lecturer Ji guided employees on using fire extinguishers to put out small fires caused by sand making machine overheating, listed emergency measures (e.g., evacuating personnel first, cutting off the sand making machine’s power supply, and reporting to the fire control room), and reminded everyone to keep fire exits near workshops unobstructed.

When the alarm rang, a targeted drill began: employees quickly cut off the sand making machine’s power, used dry powder fire extinguishers to simulate putting out an "overheating fire" near the equipment, and evacuated along the preset route. This training helped employees master fire prevention, extinguishing, and escape skills, strengthen safety awareness, eliminate fluke mindsets, and enhance the factory’s overall fire safety level—laying a solid foundation for safe production involving the sand making machine and other key equipment.
