Given the large number of tunnels in this section, the project has established an efficient manufactured sand production line to convert this waste material into valuable construction resources.
This manufactured sand production line has become a showcase for green construction practices in the field of sand and gravel materials. By effectively organizing the production of manufactured sand through this dedicated line, the project has not only ensured a stable supply of quality materials but also demonstrated environmental responsibility.
The successful implementation of the manufactured sand production line has provided significant benefits for both the company and society. Statistics show that as of mid-October, the two sand-making towers integrated into the manufactured sand production line in the SSA Section of the Yisui Expressway have processed a total of 562,809 tons of high-quality tunnel muck into usable manufactured sand, highlighting the effectiveness and efficiency of this sustainable solution.
Strengthening Foundations to Ensure Quality
The SSA Section of the Yisui Expressway features 10 tunnels (both large and small) with a total length of 17.040 kilometers. From the project's bidding stage, Jiangxi Provincial Transportation Investment Group prioritized effective utilization of tunnel muck, incorporating this requirement into the bidding documents and mandating strict implementation by all participants. Committed to building the "most beautiful expressway," the Yisui SSA Section project department took a comprehensive approach to organize manufactured sand production. This strategic initiative significantly enhanced the application effect of manufactured sand concrete throughout the construction process.
Meticulous Refinement to Forge Quality
To ensure the performance of manufactured sand concrete, the SSA Section of Yisui Expressway implements refined management throughout the entire process of manufactured sand production and application.
The project adheres to principles such as "classified production and classified use" of manufactured sand, "strengthening processes to ensure standards" for manufactured sand quality, and implementing "four levels of checks" to verify manufactured sand quality at every stage. These measures guarantee that manufactured sand meets specifications and ensure the highest quality in every application of manufactured sand concrete.
